OR Magic™ displays scheduled cases graphically and in the detailed case information grid. You can Drag and Drop scheduled cases to a new time/room or enter the information via the keyboard directly into the case grid. Selecting the patient case to modify is as simple as clicking on the case graphic or on the detail case information in the case grid. Utilizing the OR Magic™ Scheduling Request Module you can increase your scheduling efficiency even more by allowing your surgeons / clinics to input all the required patient demographic / diagnostic information and requesting a time from your scheduling department. Your scheduler simply displays the list of requests and clicks on the ones they wish to schedule.

Using PROPHITTS, OR Magic™ can estimate the required time for any surgeon to complete any procedure to within 5 minutes with better than 97.3% accuracy.
  • Conflict Checking for Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and necessary equipment for the procedure being performed.
  • Descriptive real-time conflict warnings are displayed when you are scheduling a case, this allows you to select times that do not conflict with other cases the Surgeons and Anesthesiologists may have scheduled at the same time. (Surgeon conflict example shown above.)

  • Surgeon Preference Cards are automatically assigned to each case based on the Surgeon and Procedure. Case Cart pick lists and nursing instructions are automatically printed each day for the following days cases. If a card or case cart pick list is lost, new copies can be printed on demand at any time.
