OR Magic™ Intraopertative charting module allows easy access for interactively entering all perioperative case data on any surgical case while the case is in progress. The user-centric interface design provides an intuitive approach for operating room personnel to enter data rapidly without compromising patient care. As key points of information are entered the centrally located Electronic Grease Board (Big Board) display is updated to keep all surgeons and personnel informed of the progress of ongoing cases.

All the following information can be entered while the case is proceeding.

  • All Patient Charting data from every User defined chart.
  • Start/Stop Times for all surgical events.

  • Nursing assignments/times for each nurse.
  • Supplies/Equipment used for this case.
  • Surgical Implant log.

  • Additional Diagnosis/Procedures.
  • Change of surgeon / assistants / anesthesiologist.

  • Verify Preoperative requirements (PAT) have been completed.

  • Select delay reasons for individual surgical events from a user defined list of delays.
  • Projected times are automatically updated upon entry of each surgical event time.
  • Case times can be entered with a click of the mouse or a single key stroke, or can be entered via the keyboard after the fact so that patient care is never compromised.
